Think of them as the ultimate nighttime forest farmers; instead of hunting for insects, they fly for miles under the moonlight in search of sweet figs and nectar. As they travel, they drop seeds and pollinate flowers, effectively planting the rainforests of tomorrow! Sadly, these gentle sky-puppies are losing their tall roosting trees to deforestation and face severe threats from hunting, making our sanctuary a vital safe haven for them to rest and continue their crucial work as nature's gardeners.
